I tried to come up with something everyone could undertand. I thought of what people think of when they are thirsty and what they see.
This Blog is for my students at the Art Institute of Tampa. Each of these classes has a weekly journal entry requirement. It is expected that at least 1 of these weekly entries be posted and discussed by each student.

Haha, what a great idea. This is such a great illustration for thirst. Everyone knows how that goes when all they can think about is drinking something.
Clever idea, I think the extreme closeup format of this one and the angle helps make a stronger feeling of discomfort.
this image to me is plain. I personally dont see a connection. But hey tell me.
Basically, the guy is so thirsty that all he can think about is getting a drink. A picture of a bottle is in his eyes to show what he's thinking. I think it's a good representation.
I think what makes this work is the sweat pouring down the character's face. Otherwise, it might be a little bit difficult to interpret, but once I saw that, I understood it right away. Great job!
