This add is pretty effective at conveying the message of "85% off !" Colors contrast well and overall neat tone.

This Blog is for my students at the Art Institute of Tampa. Each of these classes has a weekly journal entry requirement. It is expected that at least 1 of these weekly entries be posted and discussed by each student.

No wonder this took you so long to upload! I like this as well, it easily gets your attention with the colors. The layout is a bit too.. I don't know, imperfect. From first glance the differences in size in the header type and the spacing between the blocks looks off, but that's just my opinion. ^.^
I don't think this is effective at all. Of course the header does catch your attention, but it took me too long to notice the "85% off", which means it needs improvement. Also, I had to look to hard for Art Institute Logo, until I spotted it, I didn't even know what place of business was advertising it.
