I love how the colors in this are bold - the punch of red draws your eyes to it. Although the text that states "Start Your Revolution" blends a little too much into the background, I think that the ad still conveys the classiness of the company, as well as drawing your attention by centering the main focus of the ad; that giant gold ring, showing off all the intricate details. A simple layout, but effective in my eyes.

I agree, this add did a good job of keeping the focus on the product, not the model.
The red and the ring in the middle of the advertisement detracts from the message in the upper left.
Therefore the message is washed out, and possibly forgotten by the human eye.
