Package Design


Dove Conditioner has an interesting shaped bottle. It’s very aero – dynamic making it unique on the shelf and easy to recognize among the other brands in the environment. Dove uses very bold or bright colors, and although most other brands also use these types of colors, Dove’s bottles still stand out. The logo is extremely easy to see and read and again, easily recognizable as theirs. They have an extremely simple design on all of their bottles, with just the logo and minimal information on the front to make it easier to see and also to give it a cleaner look. I also like the fact that the opening is at the bottom because it makes it so much easier to get the shampoo out of the bottle when it is near empty. The only problem I see is the mild gradient from left to right behind the “therapy conditioner…” section; this makes the information a bit harder to read and I think that the overall design of the product would look even better without it.
