Package Design Week 5




Here, I wanted to look at the idea of package redesign. While Herbal Essences already had a great package design, their newly designed products are much catchier. Their bright colors catch the eye and the strange shape of the bottles cause the viewer to take a second glance. I also love their logo redesign with the swirls; so simple, yet so effective. I think with their new products, Herbal Essences was attempting to reach a younger demographic. I personally, am more attracted to the redesign because it looks more hip and cool rather than the older packaging. I love how they kept the idea of being able to see through the bottle in both the new and old packaging. This seems to be a trademark of this company.
