Form and Space

Those are the carro alegoricos, big or even gigantic cars over decorated for carnaval season in Brazil. Every February, many “houes” compete against themselves to see who has the best car. Most of the people that are members of those “houses” work for free just for the love of carnaval and art of making those cars.
Believe it or not, those gigantic decorations, sometimes people, animals, and gods, are all made of fome just like our project 1. Those cars are so full of decorations that it needs a light material. They all have a theme and they make use of many shapes, movement, colors, and different materials. This is a great example of 3D designers, they are very talented.

Wow, I'm glad I don't have to carve all that foam! The designs are so intricate.

Very cool... parade floats are always interesting -- each one is unique to its creator(s).
