I chose this image because I am having a difficult time understanding how the medium used is working with gravity. I think this piece is fascinating, and I'm interested to learn how the artist got the sand to stick together so well and what tools he/she used to get this effect. I love how the sand is carved out inside.

I think they add something to the sand, it is not just sand, they add some kind of glue, I think. It is great, I could never do the same...
That is a really interesting piece of art and I bet it has great perspective from all angles..nice find
Sand sculptures are amazing... I don't know if I'd spend that much time on something so temporary.
WOW... that's really animated. I don't even want to know how long that took. I like the little swirl thing in the background.
