Form and Space Week 3
This image is created out of forged steel, oxyacetylene cut and scrap boiler plate metal. Oxyacetylene cutting involves cutting thick pieces of steel at high speed with the use of an oxygen-cutting torch. Here is some more information about Oxyacetylene cutting (http://www.ironworking.com/burn.html). This sculpture is suppose to be a horse racing through modern times, and was created to represent the artist's career ride for reedom of expression.

Love It! Thanks for the link. I like the way it uses negative space as well to create the open mouth of the horse... interesting!
