This Blog is for my students at the Art Institute of Tampa. Each of these classes has a weekly journal entry requirement. It is expected that at least 1 of these weekly entries be posted and discussed by each student.

I like your drawing. I thought of something like this too. It really does represent "thirst" well. Because it looks like he'll just keep on shaking that cup until every last drop is out...and then when all the drops are out, he will probably lick the cup. Good job. I also like how you emphasized the drops.
I too did something similar with someone wanting to finish the last drop. I think it's a great idea and a great way to show thirst. I know when I'm thirsty, I savor it till the last drop. Good Job!
The blackness of the drops works well as a means of emphasis, The simple style of the drawing also makes this a better conceptual image than something detailed and realistic would be.
Great job conveying thirst. Its funny that you conveyed thirst with someone that just got finished drinking.
