Form and Space - Oriental picture box

I like this picture box, it make you think as thought you were in the orient. It is very much like a shadow box of the orient. I thought this one would be good, because of the design showing between glass panels.

Form and Space - Bear in a suitcase

I like this figurine. I like how the bear is inside of the suitcase, with all of it's belongings. It is a good one for this class; I think... The shapes are almost sculpted out into a 3'd design.

Form and Space - Ballarina in crystal

This image is interesting! A ballarina in the crystal. I think that is very fitting for the form and space. The ballarina being, that it is inside the crystal. Very Cool!

Form and Space - Alaskan fish

This picture of the fish is neat to me. It's an ornamental pendant, that was my mother's. I like the detail on the fish. All the different shapes and colors as well as the layers; so I thought it would be a good one to share.

Form and Space - Abstract Vases

I like this picture, I like these vases and thought that they would be cool to show. I think they fit very well with the type of class it is. Very abstract and 3'd geometrical shapes.

Form space week 10

This figures suppose to represent a devil; what call my attention was how similar it is to many people that you find around many places.

Form and Space - A snail's shell

I thought that this picture of a shell was cool for this class. The shape and form. It is pretty cool! I think this one is pretty neat, the way the shell is shaped.

Form and Space week 8

This Magic animal comes from Mexico. In many small towns the families have these figures in special places because they think they have powers and the capacity to bring luck to the people. They are colorful , pretty and nice even though they are like small monsters they are friendly and funny.

Form and Space - week seven

It is difficult to find an object more balance and perfect that this type of snail. Their proportions are perfect , the gradient of the color and the size are completely balance. I Thought it was a good example of a 3D object.

Underwater Scenery

I've never understood how these are really made, but they're so cool. This is a glass box. It stands probably about 4 inches tall and somehow, different things are able to be etched or lasered into them. Here, we have a nice turtle and some fishy friends! It's amazing how such a detailed design can fit in this little cube. Along with the fish cubes, I've also seen ones with roses, dragons and other creatures inside.

The Desert in Sand

This is one of our many Arizona souvenirs. We bought it before my Dad retired and we moved to Florida. Basically, it's just a small candle. The jar was made in a special way so that the artist could sprinkle sand around the sides and make a design. It was really neat to see how something so pretty could be made with colored sand. Around the top of the candle, there are also small desert stones glued in. This candle makes for a good conversation piece.

Gumball Wizard

Here is a mini gumball machine that was given to me for Christmas 3 years ago. I really like the way it replicates the bigger commercial gumball machines. It’s made of plastic and die cast metal and I would say it weighs about 10 pounds with the gumballs in it. The gumball machine is fully functional. When a quarter is place in the coin slop and the handle is turned it releases a gumball down the swirling slide.

What Time Is It

Ok, here we have a fossil watch that I have had for a very long time. The watch has never really kept good time because the batteries wear down too fast. The entire outer part of the watch is silver with a glass face. The face use to have moving numbers on the screen, but they no longer work because the batteries are too low. My favorite part of the entire watch is the interlocking links on the wrist band.

TV

I don’t get to watch TV much. But when I watch TV, I enjoy the relaxation it can bring.

CD case

I like every little detail about this CD case. It shows a range of color and it’s not over done with imagery.
